Duration:
  • 2-year-project: autumn 2015 – spring 2017
Project plan and activities
The goal of the project is to explore, create, learn, teach and compare different kinds of games in the participating countries. The main focus is on games other than digital, i.e. traditional and popular board games, card games, outdoor games and party games of the participating countries.
Each school will first carry out some research, prepare materials and presentations on the topic of games in various different subjects. The products and results will then be shared through various channels online with the partner school and finally, the games will be taught, played and compared during a face-to-face student encounter at mobility events.
In the course of the two-year project, through teacher and student mobilities, we also expect to learn about the other country’s educational system and culture in general.
In the Finnish school, the participating subjects are: English, history, physical education, technical work, art, mathematics and IT.
In the Spanish school, the participating subjects are: English, Spanish language, Classical language (Latin and Greek) and mathematics.
